The Three Active Principles at Ceres

The efficacy of a medicinal product does not solely depend on its active ingredients. Mother tinctures are distinguished by a balanced interplay of material and immaterial principles of action, provided they have been produced gently.

Through the four stages of the Ceres process, the three principles of action – active ingredients (material principle), information (immaterial principle) and life force (immaterial principle) – are unfolded and harmoniously combined. This special combination forms the basis for a phytodynamic therapy. The resulting medicinal product has the potential to address and support the human being on multiple levels.

The Material Principle of Action

Every medicinal plant contains a variety of active ingredients that work together like a harmonious orchestra. It is never a single component that determines the overall effect of the plant. Some of these active ingredients are sensitive and can be destroyed by heating or oxidation.

The chemical and pharmacological properties of the plant active ingredients have already been extensively studied by science. At Ceres, we place special emphasis on preserving these valuable substances. This is achieved primarily by harvesting the plant at the optimal stage of development, carefully hand-cutting it, and gently extracting it using the specially developed Ceres mortar process.

The Principle of Action «Information»

Information is a spiritual principle that can cause an effect. It is usually stored and transmitted through a specific structure. The spiritual meaning of the term “tree” can be transmitted, for example, by speaking the word “tree” in German or another language, whereby the information is encoded in the structure of the sound waves. The spoken word can also be stored on an electronic data medium, whereby the information is encoded in the microstructure of the medium. This concept can also be printed with characters on paper or carved into stone; in every case, the spiritual content is encoded or codified through structures. Structures and shapes are thus carriers of a message or meaning.
Information is the principle of action in homeopathic dilutions, and based on experiences in homeopathy, it can be assumed that it works in a subtler way than the substances, although its mechanism of action has not yet been scientifically recognised.
Information is primarily dynamised through the grinding process in the Ceres mortar and transferred to the medicinal product.

The Principle of Action «Life Force»

In addition to physically measurable forms of energy such as electricity, heat, light, sound and movement, there are also those that touch our psyche and evoke feelings and emotions. These include the radiance of colours, the effect of scents and aromas, as well as the harmony of proportions.

For this reason, the scents and aromas of medicinal plants unfold a healing-promoting effect, even if this has not yet been scientifically proven in every case. The life force of plants is particularly harmoniously rounded off and thereby enhanced by the maturation process.
